Wish the interviewer would shut up already

!!!I recently sold some of my long-term position and currently sitting on about 250k, do you think Nvidia is a good buy right now or I have I missed out on a crucial buy period, any good stock recommendation on great performing stocks will be appreciated

Thank you Ted! You've been investing for many years successfully and IMHO a stock exchange in Dallas is overdue. NY has had their "day in the sun" but it's time to move on. Dallas will be a better place for the new economy that's emerging without the "overhang" of the hedge funds which have too much control over what goes on in the US economy in particular and the world in general. They'll most likely be a direct cause of the next financial downturn.

Michael Dell will cash in $3 billion…. 1 - would be really interesting to know where that goes. 2 - who will ultimately end up paying for the $3b?

"2%" inflation is the fed goal. I remember when the mandate was "0%". Investors and business builders are being destroyed by the Fed's liquidity.

NO such thing as STICKY inflation!!!!!!!! This is propaganda for they injected so much $$$$$ that it will take MUCH LONGER than expected for inflation to normalize!! And if they keep spending like they are doing, inflation will continue to rise again

If consumers are stretched and economy is slowing, then inflation will continue to decrease. That's how it works. Combined with clever fiscal policy and lower government spending, everything will be fine.

To be honest, I think most consumers don't have a clue as to the real cost of what they are buying.

Inflation is a lagging indicator. When recession kicks in we'll have deflation with a vengeance.

Losing full time jobs - people taking 2 or 3 jobs and people retiring early. That’s why unemployment is low. But transactional type jobs is a very good point.

Hate to say it anyone who thought 6-7cuts were coming should be fired - I mean how in hell could they lower The rates are too low as it is they should’ve high 6 or 7 minimum

If people are scared from being in the bond market, then they should blame themselves. Only a fool would buy billions of dollars in treasury bonds earning zero to one percent. Now its at 4.6%. Thats a 60% lose if your forced to sell. And many failing banks were forced to sell.

Markets are brutal, in hindsight this advice was completely wrong.

Ted is right on the bonds, in particular on zero coupon 30 year,.. if you buy them at the peak and rates/yields pull back even 20 bps,.. you can make a 7% return. If yields go back to ZIRP, you could triple your money. Now that's not TLT and EDV,.. that's the actual zero coupon bonds. The good thing about the 20 or 30 year bonds hoping for ZIRP,.. you'll still get a 4 or 5% appreciation each year until it happens. What's scary is when you don't buy at the peak in yields and yields rise,.... The unrealized losses,... much like the regional and TBTF banks are experiencing can be significant. Ted is also right,... your goal should be a real return,.. not just a nominal return,.. where the real may be negative,.. and Jim is absolutely right here 40:00 Very few win the lottery investing in stocks or gambling in crypto,.. you have to work for your wealth and then use investing to protect and grow your wealth. One caveat is real estate. If you buy at the right time,... and spend years doing it,.. rental property can provide a consistent 15 to 20% return on out of pocket cash. Debt in income producing property is good as long as you have a positive cash flow. A fixed rate 3% mortgage on your home is good. You're paying back dollars worthless than when you borrowed even with the interest if inflation is greater than the rate on the mortgage. Debt in credit cards, vacations, junk, cars is bad.

Ted has sat in t-bills during one of history's great bull markets. One of the biggest boners in money management history.

"Pay people MORE to come back to the office"? So inflation goes higher? The agreement to pay them before wasn't to work from home. How about the business just investing in AI,.. and they can sit at home earning nothing? What? there was no agreement to be replaced with AI? Well there is now.

BTC can disregard techincals when in a bull, did that in 2020 when it crossed previous ATH... stayed there a few weeks and continued pumping like crazy to 60k. Also, there is one constant... when around 90 on monthly RSI, the end is near. And don't expect crazy price targets of 500k... expect around 100k at most and be happy if there's more after that. If you believe big boys and CEO's of big invesment firms saying targets like 1M this cycle.. you deserve to be their exit liquidity..It's not about guessing the market's next move; it's about playing it smart and steady during trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3B'tc to a decent 21B'tc in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Linda Wilburn, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

So Jim, Ted too, when you speak of 5% + returns on Treasuries, that is of course pre tax. So, with these higher for longer rates, what do you see as actual return net of inflation for the next few years? Are you actually preserving your purchasing power? What good is 5% pre tax if inflation is running at 4%? Better than an inversion of those no doubt, but wealth building???

Hey Jim: How about an alternative of 60% bonds and 25% gold and 15% Bitcoin!!!

In addition, in a taxable account with treasuries you pay no state tax if you happen to live in a state that has one.

It can't be helped of course, but when they speak of how great everything is going for stocks etc., and how great the economy is we should remember that fully 1/2 half the population of the country is NOT participating in the great new roaring twenties.
